Introduction
With the aim of achieving the major target, the RNCOE is providing efficient, effective, dedicated and competent teachers to the society to enhance the school, community and the society with the knowledge of ICT. The teachers who emerge through this process will help to create and ICT competent younger generation to our motherland. According to the Mahinda Chinthana policies of his Excellency the president Mahinda Rajapaksha evoke the path of making our motherland Sri Lanka, “The wonder of Asia”. To open up avenues for the student in ICT field, converted the RNCOE as the only ICT dedicated NCOE in Sri Lanka in the year 2009. Making a remarkable mule stone of that process the teacher trainees of the RNCOE has organized an exhibition “info@Ruwanpura 2011” to uplift the knowledge on ICT. Through this exhibition the motivation of the school community towards new trends of IT is to be achieved. At the same time by mingling the knowledge of ICT with the curriculum of schools, the development of ICT literacy among school children is expected.
